In case you haven’t had the opportunity to take a look at the materials available through the National Council on Aging (NCOA), we’d like to call your attention to some really useful resources they make available to the general public. NCOA has a clear mission to “Improve the lives of millions of older adults, especially those who are struggling,” and they carry out this mission by “partnering with nonprofit organizations, government, and business to provide innovative community programs and services, online help, and advocacy.”

In reviewing their website, we examined a series of documents on specific topics that we think might be of interest to our site visitors. One in particular deals with an area where we hear quite a bit of conversation among those approaching their Medicare sign-up days, and it deals with the issue of Medigap plans. Presented in the form of a webinar, this recorded program is actually aimed at informing insurance agents about how to advise clients on the details of Medigap plans, and does an excellent job of contrasting these details with other forms of Medicare coverage.

So, if you’re interesting in learning about Medigap and how these plans work, it might be worth an hour or so of you time to watch the webinar. You can access it on the NCOA site by clicking here…
