As a former US Navy Corpsman I have seen and responded to Sailors and Marines who have taken their own life due to PTSD. It is a heavy weight that has been painfully heavy to carry. At times reading of those who would no longer work thru the pain or isolation.
As I posted before. Many have lost their strength moving forward and for some, the weight of getting out of bed is very difficult.
