The Wounded Hero Home Program is our signature homebuilding program for severely wounded heroes injured in the post 9-11 Global War on Terror. Helping a Hero homes are designed to maximize the veteran’s independence. Homes for amputees and wheelchair bound veterans include roll in showers, roll under sinks, an adapted toilet area and other safety features. Burn victims require added interior air protections and heroes suffering from a severe TBI require a hospital quality master bedroom that includes a lift system, oxygen and support for 24/7 telemedicine.
