Our origins.  Veterans2Work was founded in 2008 by a Vietnam War veteran surprised to see that veterans of newer wars were grappling with the same transition challenges that he had struggled.  His own transition experience convinced him that something needed to be done; his business experience convinced him that there was a better way.  

We believe 

• that hiring veterans is good business.
• that returning veterans should not have to settle for just any job.
• that veterans should not have to endure chronic under-employment simply to “catch up” to their civilian peers.
• that today’s young veterans have enormous potential that can be tapped to great effect by smart employers.
