Our nation’s system of caring for those who have protected our freedom isn’t perfect, and too many veterans have slipped through the cracks.  Service members often return home with severe physical and emotional disabilities.  Whether their scars are visible or not, many feel like they don’t fit in…and, worse yet, that nobody cares.  Some will fall on hard times and for different reasons, become homeless.  Unfortunately, very few are able to find the help they need.
