Mission: To provide access to needed services and diminish the inequities our most vulnerable veterans (elderly, underserved, disabled) struggle with and experience daily. Thus, eliminating the frustrations, anxiety, depression and suicide that plagues this marginalized population.
We have a distinct and fundamental mission as we focus on taking care of our most vulnerable veterans here in Virginia, utilizing local trusted partners. We coordinate and case manage through a continuum of services, offer warm hand-offs and provide follow-up until all needs are satisfied in order to improve the lives and wellbeing of those veterans who are underserved, marginalized and incapable of finding and receiving services on their own. Our membership is comprised of individual veterans, active military, family members, area citizens, and partners of businesses who serve and honor our veterans. We work together through a common bond of service and commitment to support our joint mission of caring for our veterans and their families.
