The Nevada Veterans Coalition [NVC] was originally chartered July 1992 as the Veterans Memorial Cemetery Support Group of Northern Nevada. We will continue to serve in the same spirit and with the same dedication as intended by our founder, David E. Parsons. In 2009 the Honor Guard was established to provide interment services at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery [NNVMC]. The Honor Guard does what they do from their hearts. There were only a few individuals in this group, but over time the group of volunteers has grown and the number of services has increased. Rain, wind, snow, 100 degree temperature, 30 degree temperature, the NVC is there to honor the veteran and to support their family. The NVC is a non-profit organization and is funded through donations only. The NVC never charges for any of their services. We are a group of veterans and non-veterans, it is not a requirement to be a veteran to be part of the NVC or Honor Guard. Our Board meetings are on the 2nd Thursday, every other month, at 2:00 pm in the Administration Office at NNVMC. You are welcome to attend and learn more about the NVC. Our goal is to honor all veterans, and their families, Past, Present and Future.
