In Rancho Cordova, Nation’s Finest and VHDC have partnered with the City and Mercy Housing to build—in three phases—100 units of permanent supportive housing and 60 units of transitional housing on the old Mather Air Force base.
Phase I, which comprises 44 one-bedroom units and six two-bedroom units with energy- efficient appliances and fixtures, was completed on April 1, 2016. Phases II and III were completed in August 2019. Amenities and services include a community room with a kitchen and lounge area, onsite parking, laundry facilities, and a computer lab.
