The mission of Blue Ridge Safehouse (BRS) in West Jefferson, NC is to help active-duty Green Berets reconnect with their families post-deployment. Founded by retired SFC Gregory Peterman, a 21-year veteran of Special Forces, BRS provides a stress-free environment at no cost to the soldier and their family. The 3rd Special Forces Group Warrior Fund recently provided assistance for two families to attend an amazing offsite at BRS. Their experience was so positive that we are eager to spread the word about the great work BRS is doing for the Green Beret community.
