Bear Hug Cattle Company is a non-profit focused on providing basic horsemanship and stockmanship instruction to veterans. Our goal at Bear Hug Cattle Company is to provide veterans with the opportunity and skill necessary to get involved in the ranching community. We provide veterans with the resources and knowledge to be successful in the ranching industry. Veterans will go through a 10 week course where they will spend 4 weeks doing intensive horsemanship training. After that, they will spend 4 weeks getting on the job training at some of the most historic ranches in the west. At the end of 10 weeks, program graduates will have the ability to be hired on to any ranch in the west.
