Presentation delivered by Kari Walker. Kari is an experienced program director and health educator in the senior care industry. She is driven by a passion to equip and empower others with the information they need to make the best possible decisions about their health and well-being. As a Population Health Specialist with The Villages Health, her goals include creating a “Dementia Friendly” community in The Villages as well as implementing specialized programs tailored to reduce diabetes and fall risk. She holds a Master’s degree in Gero-Kinesiology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Currently, she and her husband share their home in The Villages with their Dusky headed Conure and Chihuahua.
