Survivor Expeditions are open only to spouses, parents, siblings, and children of military fallen heroes. TMF has found the greatest benefits occur when participants are at least 2 years out from their loss. Activities and accommodations vary, with most requiring long hours outdoors serving and some physical challenges like strenuous hikes. Each Expedition offers surviving families the opportunity to create sustainable impact in communities through beautification or construction projects, or by assisting vulnerable populations. Participants are also encouraged to take what they’ve learned and apply it as Spartan leaders in their communities moving forward.
