Writing and Speaking Effectively to Elected Officials

Effective advocacy depends on clear, confident communication. In this session, participants will learn how to write and speak persuasively to elected officials through calls, emails, letters, and in-person conversations. The class will also cover how legislative offices handle constituent outreach, how to tailor value-based messages for greater impact, and how to navigate conversations with staff and gatekeepers effectively.
