Women Veterans Club of the CSRA was established in January 2009 by Mrs. Garnet Brickey with about 10 members.  When the club first organized, members wanted a way to show their appreciation and bring Women Veterans together.  With the tight bond that was created, we became ‘Brickey’s troops’.

In 2014,  under the leadership of Mrs. Watha Alston- Hooper the club received it’s 501 (c19) designation. Now, The Women Veterans Organization of the CSRA, we continue to honor the memory of Mrs. Brickey by working toward the vision she set forth.

We have  since grown in membership and continue to grow both as an organization​ and within the community.
