VETERANS ON THE RISE

Veterans on the Rise (VOTR) is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a holistic system of care to fight veteran homelessness in the greater Washington DC area. VOTR believes that no military veteran should be homeless in the shadow of National monuments and memorials built to honor their service.

VOTR utilizes a case management approach which addresses veteran needs holistically. We provide a range of services from physical and mental health care, transportation, life skills and employment training, and legal advice. We offer our veterans safe and comforting living environments, life enhancing activities, and encouragement as they readjust to their communities, regain their dignity, and rebalance their lives. Simply put, we empower veterans to save their own lives.
