VetFriends was founded by a US Veteran in 2000. Since then, we’ve helped countless veterans and active personnel find and reconnect with their military friends.
Special bonds form between US military personnel who have and are serving side by side in the US Armed Forces. These friendships between brothers and sisters in arms often withstand the test of time. However, occasionally, people lose touch with one another when they change assignments or retire from duty. With this issue in mind, VetFriends was created by a proud US veteran and has grown to over 2,583,359 members — the largest online veteran community today!
The mission of VetFriends: to reconnect, honor and support You, our U.S. Veteran and military brothers & sisters. Our promise is to do all that we can to make you happy. In 2000, the idea of an online Veteran registry came to our Veteran founder during a conversation with his father-in-law who is a Veteran as well. When asked whether he would attend a hypothetical reunion with his old Unit, his father-in-law responded: “I’d be on the next plane to see those guys!” Reflecting on the depth of this reply, our VetFriends founder realized that the special bonds of military brother and sisterhood are powerful and can withstand the test of time…. Now, these bonds can be re-established with the help of VetFriends.com & modern technology.
Our mission is to reconnect, honor, and support you, our US veteran and military brothers and sisters. We promise to do all that we can to make you happy.
