The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 347 hits two milestones

The second-largest Sons of the American Legion squadron in the state is showing what it means to have an active chapter.

To end its fiscal year, which runs July 1 to June 30, squadron 347 in Lady Lake recently hit two milestones regarding its fundraising and membership goals.

“I have such a good group to work with,” said Danny Roe, commander of Squadron 347. “Everyone steps up when they’re needed, so that makes you feel good.”
