Operation ReBoot Outdoors is a 501c3 non-profit organization that concentrates on getting Veterans, LEOs, and service members out of the house and into nature, providing healing through hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreational activities.  We do not turn anyone away here at ORO.  If there is a Veteran who needs a reboot, who served honorably or are currently serving our country, they qualify for our services.  We are thankful for our ability as Veterans and Registered Maine Guides to help other Veterans reset their back azimuth to True North.

As an organization we concentrate on our outdoor Missions; our number one priority is creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and brotherhood and giving our ReBoot Veterans a sense of purpose again.  Our Guide Service focuses 100% of its time and resources to our non-profit operation.   Since our inception in 2019, we have served 593 Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, and Active Duty Service Members, with 203 of those outdoor Missions taking place when most needed during the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic.  We are successful with relatively limited resources, with all Missions completed on public and private land and with a 100% volunteer staff.  Our goal is to provide the same level of service that clients would experience at a large, established outfitter here in Maine.

In 2021 ORO is going to delegate funding toward providing more comfortable accommodations with ADA compliant accessibility in all aspects of our Missions, as well as giving our Veterans more personal space if needed.  We have recently purchased an outfitter in Byron, Maine, and we look forward to opening our operation there as early as September 2021.  I truly believe that our Mission is making a difference in our communities and the lives of the men and woman we serve. We are helping close the gap between military and civilian life that claims the lives of 22 heroes a day.  Here at ORO, we provide a sense of security and belonging for those who suffer combat trauma and physical limitations.  We treat each other equally, regardless of ability, and ensure a safe and memorable experience by welcoming all Veterans and having their six here and once they go home.  Operation ReBoot Outdoors will continue to strive to be one of the best Outdoor-focused organizations for Veterans that our country has ever seen.
