OPERATION FAMILY CAREGIVER

Operation Family Caregiver coaches the families of returning service members and veterans to manage the difficulties they face when they come home. OFC is a personalized program, tailored specifically to the struggles of each family. ROSALYNN CARTER INSTITUTE FOR CAREGIVERS

Operation Family Caregiver is a program of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers (RCI). RCI supports caregivers – both family and professional – through advocacy, education, research and service. It establishes local, state, national and international partnerships committed to building quality, long-term home and community-based services.

Located in Americus, Georgia, RCI is part of Georgia Southwestern State University. It was established in 1987 in honor of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, a GSW alumna who serves as president of the Institute’s Board of Directors, to enhance her longstanding commitments to family caregiving and mental health.
