Many veterans know that just because you’re off the battlefield doesn’t mean the battle is over. While the pressures of combat may end when you return home, new pressures can set in. Lingering trauma, high expectations, and a feeling that others don’t understand your experiences can haunt military veterans returning to civilian life.
