For more than 50 years, we were known as Help Hospitalized Veterans. As technology and medical care have improved, many of the veterans we serve are not hospitalized, in fact, many receive treatment in their homes and other locations. 

With that in mind, we have updated our name to Help Heal Veterans (Heal Vets) to better reflect the modern reality of the work we do. The core of our organization remains the same. Our mission is to provide therapeutic craft kits to every veteran who wants them.
