Don & Ellie Knauss are proud Aggie parents with deep military ties and a passion for serving and helping others. Their initial connection to Texas A&M and the Aggie Values was established through their son Jack, Class of 2010.  Don, a US Marine Corps veteran, and his wife Ellie, recognize the contribution veterans make while on campus and the value of higher education.

Their belief in the power of education and the Aggie Spirit led Don & Ellie to fund over $2 million in endowed student veteran scholarships.  Impressed with the veteran friendly nature of Texas A&M and desire to make Aggieland the “destination of choice” for student veterans, Don & Ellie pledged and additional $5 million to create a new, permanent space for the Veteran Resource & Support Center, incentivize additional veteran scholarships, and fund veteran-specific programs.

Generations of Aggie student veterans and their families will forever be grateful for the generosity, loyalty and selfless service of Don & Ellie Knauss.
