The Albany Law School Veterans’ Rights Project is a student led group whose mission is to connect veterans with attorneys and organizations that can help them through any legal or benefits issues they may have. Each year we host a Veterans Law Day event centered around the Veterans Day holiday.
This event is meant to provide free legal services to veterans and active duty military personnel. It typically has four components: (1) Town hall Q&A ; (2) Limited-scope consultations with attorneys; (3) Seminars on various legal issues that veterans and active duty military members are facing; and (4) Tabling by various organizations.
