How is OPM going to know what my social security offset amount at 62 was

OPM receives your Social Security benefit amount upon their request to the Social Security Administration (SSA). Your reduction will be based on an estimate of your age 62 benefit. The current amounts you are looking at on your Social Security statement are estimates and can change slightly when you retire.
