SUMMARY:Cancelled - Sudden Death Seminar Series - Fall 1 (Sep)
DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled. Please see the event page for upcoming seminars.\n\n\n\nThis is a 3-part series at Lady Lake Public LibraryTuesdays – September 12\, 19\, 26 from 10:00am -12:00pm\n\n\n\nLady Lake Public Library225 W. Guava Street\, Lady Lake\, FL 32159\n\n\n\nIf you passed away tomorrow\, will your loved ones know what to do? Will they know where your financial information and tax records\, insurance records\, and investment documents are stored? Will they be able to locate your most current will\, health care directives\, and documented funeral wishes? Can they locate important household documents\, like deeds\, car titles\, and pension statements? \n\n\n\nThe list goes on and on\, but the important point is that having this type of pertinent information organized and available in a structured place is something you can do in advance for those you leave behind. It’s a big task and it’s not an easy one…we know that. But with a structured approach\, you can create a living document that will prove invaluable to your loved ones. \n\n\n\nThis seminar has been structured to guide you through the process of creating your “Survivor Notebook\,” the repository that will help your loved ones cope after your passing. Conducted in three separate two-hour sessions\, we’ll walk you through identifying what needs to be considered\, assembling the material as we go in an accessible format\, and we’ll be developing an approach to maintaining the material so that it’s always current. You’ll leave with a physical roadmap that will be of immeasurable value to your family. \n\n\n\nThere is no cost for this workshop series\, but attendance is limited so you must register to attend. Light refreshments will be served at each session. Notebook materials will be provided.  \n\n\n\nPre-Registering Required\n\n\n\nThis seminar has a considerable amount of work leading up to the event and interaction between speakers and participants – Participants will receive formal notebook and various reference materials\, all assembled in advance. We prefer to collect registrations ahead of time; although we will have additional handouts\, it is difficult to accommodate walk-ins for this event. \n\n\n\nIf you register and find you are unable to attend\, please let us know\, so we can offer that space to someone on our waiting list. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor questions\, contact the AMAC Foundation at 888-750-2622 or email info@amacfoundation.org

SUMMARY:Community Wellness Fair
DESCRIPTION:The AMAC Foundation will be taking part in a community wellness fair on Wednesday\, January 30th\, 2019 at the Lady Lake Library from 10 AM to 1 PM.  We will be joined by local merchants and businesses whose daily focus is on the wellness of adults and children in the community.  This will be the perfect opportunity for the foundation to inform the public of\, not only who AMAC and the AMAC Foundation is\, but to also let them know about the various workshops and seminars offered to seniors specifically and to the public. \nLast year’s event was well attended and received a lot of positive feedback.  The goal of this event is to promote a healthy community by providing a means of awareness of the services that are available to assist residents in their daily lives. \nThis is a free event and affords the Foundation the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the community and connect with them on an individual basis.
