SUMMARY:Veterans Get Outside Day - FVOP Satellite Event
DESCRIPTION:Join Us at Victory Pointe Park\, Clermont\, FL!\n\n\n\nFVOP is supporting the Military Veterans Advocacy\, Veterans Get Outside Day event through a satellite event in Central FL.  Join us for a morning of coffee\, lawn games\, and comradery to join and encourage military\, Veterans\, and their families to take some time together outside. \n\n\n\nMilitary Veterans Advocacy (MVA) will host the Third Annual Veterans Get Outside Day at Niagara Falls\, New York June 14\, 2025. The event connects Veterans with resources and encourages outdoor activities to improve mental health. \n\n\n\nFoundation Veteran Outreach Program will be holding a satellite event at Victory Point in Clermont to raise awareness and support Veterans on Saturday\, June 21\, 2025. \n\n\n\nThis is a free event and everyone is invited! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:We are looking for about 10 volunteers to help us set-up/break down and run different areas like refreshments\, activities\, and a “Walk for a Vet” 1-mile fun walk.Interested in helping?  Please email info@amacfoundation.org\, subject line Vet Get Out Day Volunteer \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDid you know that studies show that individuals who spend time outside and enjoying nature\, engaging in sports or other activities\, have a better outlook on life.
