DESCRIPTION:The AMAC Foundation’s Social\nSecurity Advisory Service is now in its sixth year of operation\, and has handled\nmore than 15\,000 calls for help in understanding Social Security. We’ve found\nthat many of the questions cluster around a handful of basic areas. With this\nin mind\, we thought it would be helpful to provide an update on these most\ncommonly queried subjects\, and at the same time provide an update on some of\nthe changes applicable to 2021. \n\n\n\nIn keeping with our Foundation’s\nmission of “Supporting and Educating America’s Seniors\,” we are again\npresenting an update in a public setting where seminar attendees can get the\nfacts straight from our staff of National Social Security\nAdvisors. Join us on Wednesday\, March 17\, 2021 for a lively\nsession as our Advisors refresh you on many of the basic Social\nSecurity rules you need to understand. Our topics will include: \n\n\n\nThe basics (Eligibility\, Full Retirement Age (FRA)\, etc\,) \n\n\n\nWhen/How to file \n\n\n\nTaxation of Benefits \n\n\n\nDisability Basics \n\n\n\nSpousal Benefits \n\n\n\nSurviving Spouse Benefits \n\n\n\n…and much more!   \n\n\n\nCOVID-19 restrictions will be in effect\, with face coverings\, limited attendance\, and social distancing required.   \n\n\n\nThe seminar will be held at the Lady Lake Library\, 225 W. Guava Street\, Room 207. \n\n\n\nThere is no fee for this seminar and light refreshments will be served.
